The 'New Talent Grand PIX' nominees are in


From 'The Last Family' which follows the life and murder of famed Polish surrealist Zdzislaw Beksinskis.

Each year CPH PIX screen the most significant, surprising and entertaining films from all over the world and bestow awards upon the best films in four different categories: the 'New Talent Grand PIX', a prize awarded to one promising debutant, the 'Politiken Audience Award' which will help support the winning film's distribution in Denmark, Nordisk Film Fonden's 'Best Children's Film' and 'Best Children's Short Film'.

Focusing especially on upcoming filmmakers, only debut features compete in the festival's main award 'New Talent Grand PIX'. 10 first-time directors will be competing for a 10.000 euro cash prize, while the award will be handed out by an international jury.
